Alanya introduces new 72-month payment scheme for public debt

Alanya authorities have announced a new payment scheme for outstanding public debts, allowing individuals and local businesses to repay obligations over an extended period of up to 72 months. This initiative, which includes taxes, fees, and other public claims, aims to provide significant financial relief and simplify the collection process in the region.

The new policy significantly reduces the monthly financial burden compared to previous terms, which often featured high interest rates and strict repayment deadlines. By spreading the debt over six years, individual instalments become more manageable, offering greater flexibility in financial planning, particularly for foreign residents and business owners in Alanya.

In addition to the extended repayment period, the scheme also features reduced interest rates on the public debt, further decreasing the overall cost of repayment. This measure is part of a broader communiqué from the authorities, underlining their commitment to supporting economic stability for both private citizens and the business community in Alanya.

It offers a crucial opportunity for those who previously struggled to meet their financial obligations to regularise their situation.
