Alanya Municipality launches support programme for women: “One tree, one woman, a greener Alanya”

Alanya Municipality’s Directorate of Rural Services has recently launched a new support programme aimed at women residing in Alanya.

The initiative, bearing the slogan " One tree, one woman, a greener Alanya," offers free tree saplings to eligible women to promote a more environmentally friendly cityscape.

This programme is of particular interest to female foreign residents living in Alanya, as it provides an opportunity to contribute to the local area' s green development and utilise a public service.

The application period remains open until 28 September 2026.

The programme is designed to encourage active participation from female residents in the effort to improve Alanya' s environment and aesthetics.

By distributing tree saplings, the municipality aims to increase the city' s green space, which can contribute to better air quality and a more comfortable climate.

This initiative underscores Alanya Municipality’s commitment to sustainability and the quality of life for its residents. All women residing in Alanya are eligible to apply for this tree-planting programme.

This includes both Turkish citizens and foreign residents who hold an official registered address within the municipality.

Interested women are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to contribute to a greener Alanya.

Applications must be submitted to Alanya Municipality’s Directorate of Rural Services by the deadline set for 28 September 2026.

Details regarding the application process and required documentation are available via the municipality' s official channels. A greener Alanya will not only beautify the cityscape but will also have positive environmental effects that are noticeable to everyone, including tourists and visitors.

More trees help to lower temperatures during the summer months, improve air quality, and create a more inviting environment.

For foreign residents, this programme represents an opportunity to integrate further into the local community and take part in a collective effort for the city' s future.

It also demonstrates how local authorities are working to improve the living environment for everyone. This initiative from Alanya Municipality is a prime example of how public services can engage residents in the work of creating a more sustainable city.

For female foreign residents in Alanya, it provides a tangible way to contribute to and benefit from an improved local environment.

A greener city is also more attractive to tourists, which adds to the region' s overall appeal.

The programme contributes to a long-term environmental strategy that benefits both residents and visitors.

It is important for those who qualify to note the application deadline of 28 September 2026 and to contact Alanya Municipality for further information on how they can participate in the " One tree, one woman, a greener Alanya" programme.
