Alanya University Strengthens Tourism Industry Collaboration
Alanya University has significantly strengthened its collaboration with the tourism industry, a move expected to positively impact the city’s primary economic sector. The university held two comprehensive “External Stakeholder Meetings” to align its educational programmes with the dynamic demands of the sector, particularly in travel and hotel management.
These meetings, organised by the departments of Tourism Management, Economics, and the Tourism and Hotel Management programme, took place at the Hamdullah Emin Paşa campus. This initiative underscores the university’s commitment to producing highly qualified professionals capable of directly enhancing service quality and the overall experience for tourists and international residents in the region.
This closer cooperation between academia and industry will provide students with more practical and industry-relevant education. For visitors and residents in Alanya, this is anticipated to lead to improved service quality across hotels, restaurants, and other tourism-related services, thereby enhancing their stay. The effort reflects Alanya’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its tourism offerings and maintaining its appeal as an attractive destination.
