ALKÜ Celebrates 130 Seniors Completing Model Aircraft Design Course…
Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) recently hosted a certification ceremony for 130 senior citizens in Alanya who successfully completed a model aircraft design course. This event marked the third time the university has celebrated graduates from this popular program, which is part of its “60+ Tazelenme Üniversitesi” initiative.
The “60+ Tazelenme Üniversitesi” (Renewal University for 60+) program is specifically designed for individuals over 60, aiming to foster active aging through engaging educational activities. Participants in the model aircraft design course acquired skills in both the technical design and creative construction of model planes.
The consistent high participation of 130 seniors and the program’s third iteration underscore its significant success and positive impact within the Alanya community. ALKÜ’s initiative provides a valuable platform for older residents, including foreign nationals, to learn new skills, expand social networks, and maintain an active and integrated lifestyle.
