Antalya invests billions in wastewater treatment plants, including in Alanya
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality' s ASAT General Directorate has carried out an extensive investment programme of over 10 billion Turkish lira in the region' s wastewater treatment plants between 2019 and 2026.
This major infrastructure commitment is designed to meet the increasing demand for wastewater treatment resulting from the region' s rapidly growing population and significant tourism industry.
These upgrades also encompass the treatment facilities located in Alanya. The investments, which total 10,823,727,485 Turkish lira, aim to ensure sufficient and modern wastewater treatment throughout the entire Antalya region.
