Antalya Metropolitan Municipality has finalized preparations for Kurban Bayram, expected to begin around May 26, 2026, announcing free public transport throughout the holiday period. This initiative aims to ensure a peaceful and problem-free celebration for all residents and visitors in the Antalya region.
The measure is designed to facilitate travel for those visiting family or participating in holiday events. Offering complimentary bus, tram, and metro services will help reduce traffic congestion and make it easier for people to move around the city and its surroundings without incurring transport costs.
In addition to free transportation, the municipality is mobilizing dedicated 24/7 teams. These teams will be on standby to provide various services, maintain order, and ensure all municipal facilities operate optimally throughout the Bayram period, supporting a well-organized and enjoyable holiday experience for everyone.
