Corendon Airlines Announces Direct Umrah Flights, Extending Service…
Corendon Airlines, a Turkish-based carrier, has launched new direct flights for Umrah pilgrims, partnering with Royal Avis. These routes will operate from Antalya, a major Turkish tourist city, directly to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, marking the commencement of the 2026-2027 Umrah season.
A notable change for this season is the decision to continue these flights throughout the summer months. Traditionally, Umrah journeys have been more concentrated during other times of the year. This extension aims to provide pilgrims with greater flexibility when planning their travel to the holy sites.
The direct route from Antalya enhances accessibility for a diverse range of travellers, including Turkish citizens, foreign residents in Turkey, and international passengers opting to travel via Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. Corendon Airlines has also indicated it will maintain Umrah flights from other Turkish cities during the summer period, further diversifying its service offerings beyond traditional leisure tourism to meet the demands of the religious travel market.
