Corendon Airlines launches new flight routes between Çukurova and Germany

The airline Corendon Airlines is significantly expanding its route network by launching direct flights from Çukurova Airport in Turkey to Germany.

Starting in the summer of 2026, the company will offer reciprocal flights to Düsseldorf, Cologne-Bonn, and Nuremberg.

This initiative connects a vital region in Southern Turkey directly to key German cities, simplifying travel for both tourists and those visiting friends and family. Çukurova Airport, which serves the Turkish provinces of Adana and Mersin, represents a new hub for air traffic in a region renowned for its agricultural production, historical sites, and growing tourism industry.

With these new routes, Corendon Airlines offers a fresh alternative for travellers eager to explore this part of Turkey, or for the large Turkish diaspora in Germany wishing to visit their homeland. The launch of these routes represents a concrete increase in accessibility and more choice for travellers.

Tourists who previously had to make connections or travel via larger airports such as Antalya can now fly directly to Çukurova.

This is expected to stimulate tourism to Adana and Mersin, areas that offer a different experience compared to more traditional charter destinations, featuring a richer local culture and less crowded beaches.

The new direct connections may also lead to more competitive airfares between Germany and Turkey' s Mediterranean coast, as additional routes and increased capacity often drive prices downwards.

For passengers, this translates into a simpler and potentially more affordable travel experience, which is particularly attractive for those planning holidays or family visits in 2026. Corendon Airlines' strategic decision to establish routes from Çukurova Airport underscores the growing importance of the facility.

For the German and European travel market in general, this signifies a broader range of entry points into Turkey.

This can help spread tourism to new areas and relieve pressure on the most established destinations, while simultaneously providing a boost to the local economy in the Çukurova region.

Travellers planning trips for the summer of 2026 should note these new routes as a practical and direct option.

This allows for the opportunity to book travel well in advance and potentially take advantage of early-bird discounts.

The expansion also confirms Corendon Airlines' position as a key player in the connection between Turkey and Europe.
