Financial Analyst İslam Memiş Sets New Price Targets for Gold and Silver

Financial analyst İslam Memiş has presented his forecasts for gold and silver prices towards the end of the year, expressing strong expectations for an upward trend.

His statements come at a time when investors in Turkey and across the globe are closely monitoring developments in the precious metals markets, particularly following signals from the U. S.

Federal Reserve (Fed) and the subsequent impact on global liquidity conditions. These projections are of significant interest to Turkish households and investors who traditionally seek security in gold and silver during periods of economic uncertainty and inflationary pressure.

Regarding the outlook for the price of gold, Memiş points out that the recent decline in the ounce price of gold, which many have observed, is unlikely to be long-lasting. He anticipates a swift recovery and expects the gold price to establish itself within a specific range.

For the coming week, the financial analyst expects the gold price to fluctuate between 4,400 and 4,500 U. S. dollars per ounce.

However, the analyst sees substantial potential for further growth during the final quarter of the year, suggesting that the price of gold could test the psychologically significant level of 5,000 dollars per ounce. Regarding the potential of silver and the interest from Turkey, Memiş has identified clear resistance levels that must be breached for this popular precious metal.

He specifically points to 71 and 75 dollars as key thresholds for further gains.

Once these levels are surpassed, an ambitious target of 96 dollars has been placed on the agenda for silver. For Turkish investors, such forecasts are particularly relevant, as precious metals have historically been considered a reliable hedge against the effects of high inflation and fluctuations in the value of the Turkish Lira.

In a country experiencing persistently high inflation, investments in physical assets like gold and silver are frequently preferred to preserve purchasing power and protect personal savings. Memiş’s outlook contributes to the ongoing discussion and strategic planning among Turkish market participants regarding investment strategies in a challenging economic climate.

Gold and silver possess deep-rooted historical and cultural significance in Turkey, serving both as a primary form of saving for ordinary citizens and as a valuable commodity. Price movements in these precious metals can therefore directly affect wealth distribution and investment choices for a wide range of actors, from small savers and households to larger financial institutions and companies hedging against currency volatility.

A potential price increase, as predicted by Memiş for both gold and silver, would strengthen the wealth of those already invested in precious metals and could potentially stimulate increased interest and demand for further purchases in Turkey. This may also have an indirect effect on the stability of the Turkish Lira and the broader economy; strong demand for gold can reflect an underlying concern regarding the future stability of the national currency and the central bank' s ability to control inflation.

For tourists and foreign residents in Turkey, fluctuations in precious metal prices can also impact the cost of goods and services if they are priced in foreign currency, as well as the value of funds held in the local currency. For those considering investing or who currently hold precious metals, Memiş’s forecasts provide an important starting point for further evaluation during a time of dynamic global and local market conditions.
