New mobile app to simplify air travel in Turkey

The Turkish State Airports Authority (DHMİ) is in the process of launching a new mobile application designed to simplify the travel experience for passengers.

The app, titled " Uçuş Rehberim" (My Flight Guide), was announced by Minister Uraloğlu on 15 September 2026.

Its primary objective is to offer flight tracking and indoor airport navigation from a single, centralized hub.

This new service means that travellers—including tourists, business travellers, and Nordic holidaymakers—will benefit from a more streamlined journey.

Instead of checking various sources for information, all necessary data regarding flights and airport facilities will be easily accessible within the application.

This could save time and reduce stress, especially at large airports featuring multiple terminals." Uçuş Rehberim" will centralise essential information that is usually dispersed across different platforms.

This includes updates on flight status, gate changes, delays, boarding times, and baggage claim details.

For travellers who frequently encounter unforeseen changes, such a consolidated overview will serve as a valuable tool that contributes to a calmer journey.

Furthermore, the built-in navigation feature will be of great assistance for finding one' s way around Turkey' s airports.

Whether a user needs to locate the correct gate, restrooms, restaurants, or duty-free shops, the app will be able to guide them.

This is particularly useful for international travellers who are unfamiliar with the layout of an airport or have limited time during layovers. For tourists visiting Turkey, whether they are heading to popular destinations like Antalya, Istanbul, or Bodrum, " Uçuş Rehberim" will provide a significant advantage.

The app can help reduce potential language barriers and the confusion that often arises at busy airports.

It makes the journey clearer and helps ensure that passengers can navigate through airport areas more quickly and easily.

The launch of this application demonstrates an effort by the Turkish authorities to improve the infrastructure and services for the millions of travellers who use the country' s airports every year.

This underscores a commitment to providing a better and more efficient experience for everyone travelling to and from Turkey, which will be felt through increased comfort and reduced uncertainty during their journeys.
