TÜBİTAK sky observation event sets new application record
The 28th annual sky observation event, organised by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK), has officially commenced at Lake Emre in Afyonkarahisar.
Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, attended the opening ceremony, which marks the official start of this significant public science initiative.
Minister Kacır announced that this year' s event has received a record-breaking number of applications.
Approximately 20,000 individuals from all 81 of Türkiye' s provinces have applied to participate.
