Turkish Airlines to Boost Istanbul-Dhaka Flights

Turkish Airlines (THY) is set to increase its weekly flights on the route between Istanbul and Dhaka, Bangladesh, from seven to nine, starting July 17. This expansion comes in response to a significant rise in passenger demand for travel between the two cities.

The increased frequency will offer travellers, including those connecting from other regions, more flexibility and choices when planning journeys to or from Bangladesh via Istanbul. As a major global hub, Istanbul Airport is frequently used by international passengers to connect to destinations across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.

This move is expected to improve ticket availability and offer more convenient flight times, particularly beneficial for those with strict travel schedules. The expansion also underscores Istanbul’s growing significance as a central international airport and contributes to Turkish Airlines’ overall network development.
