Turkish high school team secures UAV victory in the USA
Students from the Turkish city of Kayseri have achieved remarkable international recognition by winning a prestigious drone competition in the United States.
The GÖKTİM Kartal Air UAV team from the Kayseri Merkez Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School secured first place among high school teams during the ' SUAS 2026' competition with an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that they had designed and manufactured themselves. This victory underscores Turkey' s growing capacity in aerospace and defence technology, even at the high school level.
