Turkish warships and drones in demonstration ahead of TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan
Ahead of the technological event TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan, Turkey will hold a joint demonstration of the country' s premier defense technology.
Turkish naval vessels and advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) will meet in the Gulf of Izmit for a public display.
This event, which takes place on 19 August 2026, is designed to showcase Turkey' s national defense capabilities and domestic technological advancements.
The demonstration will include selected platforms from the Turkish Navy, including the TCG Anadolu, TCG Heybeliada, TCG Derya, and TCG Preveze.
In the skies, the country' s " local and national prides," the Bayraktar TB2, Bayraktar TB3, and AKINCI, will participate.
These vessels and aircraft will assemble in the airspace and waters of the Gulf of Izmit to salute the public, underscoring an integrated approach to national defense.
