Wyndham opens seven new hotels in Turkey – strengthening travel offerings
The international hotel chain Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has announced a significant expansion of its operations across Europe, the Middle East, Eurasia, and Africa (EMEA), with a particular focus on Turkey.
During the first half of 2024, the chain opened 13 new hotels in the region, seven of which are located in Turkey.
This development contributes to strengthening the country' s capacity for visitors and provides tourists with more accommodation options.
With these new openings, Wyndham now has over 130 hotels in Turkey, making the country one of the chain' s most important global markets.
For travellers, this means increased accessibility, especially in popular tourist areas, as well as a diverse selection of hotel types and price points under a recognised international brand.
The addition of these hotels helps meet the growing demand from international visitors, including Nordic tourists who frequently choose Turkey as a holiday destination. The increase in the number of hotels under the Wyndham umbrella is a clear sign of Turkey' s enduring appeal as a tourist destination.
This expanded capacity may help to stabilise prices and ensure better availability, even during peak seasons.
Travellers can expect a wider range of services and facilities, from budget-friendly options to more luxurious experiences, depending on the specific location and brand of the hotel.
Furthermore, Wyndham' s expansion plans do not end with these recent openings; the company has also signed agreements for an additional 25 new hotel projects in the EMEA region during the same period.
While details regarding the specific locations for these future projects have not yet been disclosed, it indicates a continued strategic focus on growth in the region and signals a long-term belief in the tourism potential of Turkey and its neighbouring countries.
For those planning a trip to Turkey, Wyndham' s expanded portfolio means it will be easier to find accommodation that suits individual preferences and budgets, with the increased competition potentially leading to better offers and a more comfortable booking process for both holidaymakers and business travellers visiting the country.
