Turkey Seizes 1.5 Tons of Drugs at Edirne Border
Turkish authorities have seized approximately 1.5 tons of heroin and methamphetamine at the İpsala border crossing in Edirne, near the border with Greece. The substantial drug cache was discovered in a truck that had originated its journey from Iran. The driver of the vehicle was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
