Russian Tour Operators Reroute Turkey Flights Due to Air Anka Problems
Russian tour operators are reorganising flights to Turkey due to operational issues faced by Air Anka, leading to cancellations and delays for travellers.
According to the Russian Union of Tour Operators (ATOR), several operators, including Anex, have confirmed that Air Anka cannot operate a number of its scheduled flights. Cancellations have been particularly noted for flights planned around May 26 and beyond, raising concerns about the exact scope of these operational changes.
Affected passengers are being transferred to other airlines, and in some cases, individual solutions are being offered to ensure they can still reach Turkey as planned. This reorganisation aims to minimise inconvenience for holidaymakers.
While primarily impacting the Russian market, such significant disruptions in air traffic highlight the importance for all travellers to stay informed about their flight details and maintain close contact with their tour operators or airlines.
