Turkey’s air traffic reached 167.6 million passengers in eight months
In the first eight months of this year, a total of 167,552,966 passengers travelled by air in Turkey, according to figures announced by the country' s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu.
This significant growth in air traffic highlights a busy period for the Turkish aviation sector, which is essential for both domestic and international mobility.
Minister Uraloğlu specifically highlighted the performance of Istanbul' s and Antalya' s airports.
These two airports, which are Turkey' s largest in terms of passenger capacity, alone welcomed 81.7 million travellers during the same eight-month period.
