Turkey: Over 160,000 Young Couples Receive State Marriage Loans
Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Turkey’s Minister of Family and Social Services, has announced that more than 160,000 young people have received payments through a state marriage loan programme. The initiative forms part of the ‘Support Project for Young People Getting Married’ (Evlenecek Gençlerin Desteklenmesi Projesi), designed to offer financial assistance to young couples planning to establish households.
